Simple Step-by-Step Passport Address Change Process

  • Visit www.passportindia.gov.in and log in with your registered ID or create a new account.
  • Then choose the option "Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport."

  • Choose "Re-issue" and select "Change in Existing Personal Particulars," specifying "Address Change."
  • Enter your new address in the online form.
  • Also, check that other personal details (e.g., name, date of birth) are correct.

  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents (listed below) to authenticate the address change.
  • All documents should be in PDF format (10 KB- 300 KB) and clear.

  • Pay the passport re-issue fee (₹1,500 for a 36-page passport; ₹2,000 for a 60-page passport).
