How to Book Passport Appointment Online in India

Access to the official Passport Seva Portal (www.passportindia.gov.in).

• New Users: create a new account by clicking on the "New User Register" anf fill in your email, phone number, and a secure password.
• Existing Users: If you already have an account, then log in using your registered user ID and password.

Choose "Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport" from the dashboard to start your application.

Enter personal details, including your name, address, and passport-specific information. You can:

• Fill the form online, or
• Download and upload an e-Form.

Pay the application fee from any of the available payment options to proceed.

After payment, you'll receive an SMS or email with your appointment details, including the Application Reference Number (ARN), date, time, and PSK location..

Go to the PSK on the scheduled date and time and carry your receipt and required documents (see "Documents Required" below) to avoid any delays.

The Passport Seva Portal is integrated with SBI’s Multi-Option Payment System (MOPS) for a secure and convenient payment process. Here is the list of available payment methods:

1. Log in to your Passport Seva account and generate an ARN.
2. Click "Pay and Schedule Appointment" and select "Online Payment."
3. Choose "NET BANKING" on the MOPS website.
4. Log in to your bank account, complete the payment, and return to the portal.
5. Confirm your appointment and print the receipt.

1. Generate your ARN by following the above-mentioned steps and reach the payment screen.
2. Select "CARD PAYMENTS" on the MOPS website
3. Enter your debit card details and complete the transaction.
4. Your passport application will be confirmed once the payment is made.

2. Enter your credit card details and OTP for verification.
3. Your visa appointment will be confirmed automatically once the payment is completed.
