If you're into online shopping, The SBI Simply CLICK Credit Card is a decent choice for a basic card. It offers better perks compared to similar cards in its price range. But if you prefer cashback, there are simpler and more valuable options available with similar fees.

Before, I used this card for most of my expenses because my only other option was the HDFC Moneyback card. But when I got the Flipkart Axis and Amazon ICICI Credit Cards, it became more logical to use them instead. There were two main reasons for this change:

  • Amazon and Flipkart sell everything from electronics to groceries, accessories to books, and more. This gave me more chances to earn cashback, so I began using their co-branded credit cards for those purchases.
  • These cards provide cashback directly, either into my wallet or as a credit on my statement, which makes things super easy and convenient – no need to fuss with redeeming rewards.

The main advantage of The SimplyCLICK SBI Card is its simpler eligibility criteria. It's one of SBI Card's basic cards, so the minimum income requirement is relatively lower. If you're moving up from your first basic card, this could be a good choice.
