- Update the Kotak 811 app to the latest version via Google Play or App Store.
- Clear app cache/data from phone settings or reinstall the app.

Transaction Failures or Hidden Charges
- Problem: UPI payments fail, or unexpected fees appear for cash transactions.
- Solutions:
- For Limited KYC, do not go over a ₹1 lakh balance and one free cash transaction/month.
- Check recipient details and app updates before retrying failed transactions.
- Carefully review charges in the app’s “Statement” section; a physical debit card costs
₹199 p.a.
- Raise the dispute via the app’s “Raise a Request” feature, or call 1860-266-0811.

Aadhaar or PAN Not Available
- Issue: If you do not have an Aadhaar or PAN card.
- Solution: In the beginning, you can go for the Kotak 811 Lite account and then apply for
the necessary documents in the meantime, and later upgrade to whichever savings account you
want.
No Joint Account
- Issue: This account is only available for a single user, which means no joint account
facility.
- Solution: If you want to open a joint account with your family member or others then you
can go for another Kotak Bank account which allows joint account.
